Before the injection pump starts to supply oil, the needle valve of the injection nozzle is closed and maintained in this state by the spring. After the fuel injection pump starts its pump oil stroke, the high-pressure diesel enters the fuel injection nozzle assembly through the oil inlet pipe joint, and enters the oil cavity around the pressure cone of the needle valve through the oil passage in the fuel injection nozzle body. When the diesel pressure reaches the set pressure, the upward pushing force of the oil pressure acting on the pressure cone of the needle valve will open the needle valve. The diesel arrives at the injection hole from the very small oil cavity under the needle valve, which is called the oil pocket, and The orifices spray out with a fine mist of oil. When the pump oil pressure decreases, the needle valve spring makes the needle valve fall on the valve seat, and the injection process ends.
